Welcome, new and returning players and families, to RI Thunder Gold CTS & Lieto/Lotti National!  We're thrilled to have you join our community of passionate softball enthusiasts.  We are committed to fostering not only exceptional softball skills but also a supportive and encouraging environment for all our players. We are confident that this is the organization where you will grow, learn, and thrive.Our program is designed to develop athletes to their fullest potential, emphasizing skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth. We provide top-notch instruction, competitive opportunities, and a strong sense of community that extends beyond the diamond. Waiver and Indemnification

In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way and/or enter upon, use and/or engage in sports activities with, for or in any manner associated with the Program,  or any wholly or partially owned entities and or their related athletic/sports programs and events, the undersigned:

1.  Agrees that prior to participating, he/she will inspect the facilities and equipment to be used, and if he/she believes anything is unsafe, will immediately advise a representative of the Program of such conditions and shall not participate;

2.  Acknowledges and fully understands that each participant will be engaging in activities that involve risk of serious injury, including permanent disability and death, and severe social and economic losses which might result from not only their own actions, inactions, or negligence of others, the rules of play, or the conditions of the premises or of any equipment used.  Further, that there may be risks not known to us or not reasonably foreseeable at this time;

3.  I hereby for myself and/or my minor child, freely and voluntarily agree to assume and fully accept to assume and fully accept any and all known and unknown risks of injury;  

4.  Release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue the Program or their affiliated teams/programs, and their respective members, administrators, officers, directors, agents, coaches, volunteers and other employees of said organization, participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and if applicable, owners or lessees of premises used to conduct the event, all of which are hereinafter referred to as “Releasees”, from demand, losses or damages on account of injury, including death or damage to property, caused or alleged to be caused in whole or in part due to any cause whatsoever, including negligence or breach of contract on the part of the Releasee in the performance of the activities and/or operation, supervision, design or maintenance of any equipment or facilities used in conjunction therewith;

5.  Shall defend, indemnify and hold the Releasee harmless from and against any and all liability, loss, expense, claims and or causes of action,  including reasonable attorney’s fees and costs,  present or future, known or unknown, for injuries or damages arising out of the participation in any activities or programs with the Program or otherwise covered by this Agreement.

6. I acknowledge the contagious nature of certain illnesses and voluntarily assume the risk that I may be exposed to or infected by same by participation and that such exposure or infection  may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death.  I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by certain illnessesin conjunction with the participation in any activities or programs with the Program may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including but not limited to, Program members, administrators, officers, directors, agents, coaches, volunteers  and other employees, and program participants and their families.   I voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to myself (including but not limited to personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that I may experience or incur in connection with my participation in any activities or programs with the Program .  On my behalf, I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless the Releasees  of and from the claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto, including any claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of the Releasees whether an infection occurs before, during, or after participation in any activities or programs with the Program.  I represent that I have adequate insurance to cover any injury or illness I may suffer or cause while participating in this activity, or else I agree to bear the costs of such injury or illness myself.  I further represent that I have no medical or physical condition which could interfere with my safety in this activity, or else I am willing to assume -- and bear the costs of -- all risks that may be created, directly or indirectly, by any such condition.  

Participation by me or my child shall serve as acknowledged consent to the terms and conditions of the foregoing waiver and indemnification.
